We run an existing cafe and are looking for licensed, experienced tradies to help bring the space up to full council compliance standards. This is not a full fit-out — the cafe is operational — but we need assistance identifying and completing any minor works required by the council to meet health, safety, and building regulations. Possible tasks include: • Plumbing adjustments (e.g. installing/relocating a hand wash basin, grease trap checks, drainage fixes) • Electrical updates (e.g. safety switches, correct placement of outlets, lighting compliance) • Ventilation or exhaust system improvements • Fire safety compliance (e.g. exit signage, fire extinguishers, fire blanket installation) • Surface updates (e.g. applying washable finishes to walls, sealing floors) • Any other minor maintenance or updates required for compliance We’re ideally seeking tradespeople who have experience with food premises and council inspections, and who can either assess our current setup or act on a list of required changes from a prior inspection. Being able to provide compliance certificates where applicable is a must.
