We need the timber to be cut back in a straight line (even/flush edge) so it looks neat and is ready for finishing. After the cut, we need a small ramp/transition installed along the edge to eliminate any trip hazard (safe, tidy, durable). The ramp/transition should be securely fixed and suitable for a retail environment (people walking through all day). Hi, need a licensed tradesperson (plasterer or passive fire specialist) for a small but compliance-critical ceiling repair in my top-floor (3rd storey) strata unit in Bondi Junction, NSW. Job details: • Patch and fireproof a single 150 mm hole in a double-layer Gyprock fire-rated ceiling. It’s to cover a hole made for range hood ductwork that is going to be removed. • Access via manhole to roof cavity from inside unit (no external roof access needed). • Must restore full fire-resistance level (FRL) per Australian Standards (AS 1530.4/NCC) using tested passive fire system + matching plasterboard reinstatement on underside. • Include photos, product data sheets, and compliance statement for strata AFSS. • No cosmetic finish required (just functional patch); I’ll paint later. Requirements: • Experience with strata fire-rated repairs (double Gyprock ceilings). • Provide tested system detail for this penetration size. • Public liability insurance + relevant certifications. I need 2 guys for a day to direct stick, base coat, top coat on brick and around a beam which will have timber blocks in it. Also, install cornice and patch a few walls around a new staircase. Cornice and sheets supplied. Glue, base coat, top coat to be supplied by you. Please allow for sanding once dry
