I need a loose barge board (timber trim piece) on the right-hand side of my roof reattached/secured. The board has come away from the roofline on the gable end of a two-storey weatherboard house. What's involved: - The barge board on the right side of the front gable has come loose and is hanging away from the roof edge - There is a cable (not power — confirmed as antenna/internet cable) attached to the board that will need to be worked around - The board needs to be pushed back into position and securely refastened (nailed/screwed) - If the timber is rotted or damaged beyond repair, please let me know before proceeding — may need replacement Important — height access: - This is at the peak of the house, approximately 6 metres high - You will need to bring your own extension ladder or other appropriate access equipment - Please only apply if you are comfortable working at this height and have the right gear Happy to discuss further and share more photos.
