Hi there, I’ve got some old-school manual roller shutter blinds with the crank handles. A few of them aren’t working properly: Some shutters are stuck halfway and won’t go up or down. Others move but are very jittery when winding. One got jammed badly enough that I had to remove the front casing. I’m not sure if the issue is with the winding mechanism, the shutter tracks, or something else. I need two jobs completed: 1. Roller Shutter: The belt on my manual roller shutter has snapped and needs replacing. The shutter curtain itself is fine – only the belt needs to be fitted. 2. Side Gate/Door: My current side gate (arched, set between two brick walls) needs replacing. The timber panels are completely rotted, and the metal frame is rusted at the bottom.
