Hi there, I’ve got some old-school manual roller shutter blinds with the crank handles. A few of them aren’t working properly: Some shutters are stuck halfway and won’t go up or down. Others move but are very jittery when winding. One got jammed badly enough that I had to remove the front casing. I’m not sure if the issue is with the winding mechanism, the shutter tracks, or something else. I’m looking for someone experienced with roller shutters who can come have a look, diagnose the problem, and provide quotes for the repairs. Photos are attached for reference. I need two jobs completed: 1. Roller Shutter: The belt on my manual roller shutter has snapped and needs replacing. The shutter curtain itself is fine – only the belt needs to be fitted. 2. Side Gate/Door: My current side gate (arched, set between two brick walls) needs replacing. The timber panels are completely rotted, and the metal frame is rusted at the bottom.
