Gas Hot Water System Repair - Pilot light goes out

Our old Aquamax Hot water gas system has stopped working. The pilot light comes on and is steady but upon release of the button it goes out. Likely a thermocouple issue? Need someone to inspect and fix. Also, unscrewed one of the bolts and now cannot tighten, see picture.

Looking for a plumber to provide quote for plumbing works and commence job if quote accepted Gas has been shut off due to leaks in the system. (Discovered when old gas heater was removed) Gas goes to stove top and hot water some is galvanized pipe some is copper. Ideally instead of replacing I would rather have the leaks detected and fixed or worst case replace the galvinzed sections to copper. Quote time would ideally be weekend otherwise after 4pm weekdays - Due date: Flexible
