Simple plumbing repair
$200
Birchgrove NSW, Australia
13th Jan 2024
Outdoor tap is fitted to copper pipe that passes through a brick wall. I replaced the tap, but in the process, damaged the copper pipe that it attaches to, probably within the wall. There is small leak coming out the other side of the wall. The other side is accessible. Not massively urgent as the water is outside. Suspect that the a new pipe needs to be soldered on the other side of the wall, through the wall and the tap fitting replaced. I have images but its not letting me add them from mobile - Due date: Flexible
Unfortunately I had a bad experience. Delayed the time twice, then on arrival doubled the price despite the scope being clear. I reluctantly accepted as wanted the work done (my mistake) on condition that I get an invoice so I could try and claim from Strata. This never happened despite reminders. Complete breach of trust. Work was fine, but he didn’t carry the most basic of parts and to go and buy them. Unreliable and not to trusted.
