Sand, stain and polish Baltic pine floorboards in a single-storey house in Fairfield (3078), roughly 110m² throughout. There are some gaps between boards, a few boards that may need replacing, and some creaking/movement we’d like fixed. Looking to retain the same coloured stain.

Take apart original deck. Supply new decking material and construct to same original size and dimensions. I will get rid of old decking. Dimensions in photos.

The end beam/joist on our deck is rotted and some of the boards no longer screw into it. It is the end that needs replacing so the boards can be screwed back in. It was about 8m of length and needed replacing. I have done the 4m closest to the house. I have one 4m piece here already it just needs to be finished off and connected around the post.

After a water leak in our kitchen several floorboards have had to be removed. I have replacements which will click into place with the existing boards however these need to be trimmed to fit under the kick boards and around the kitchen unit legs. The job is further complicated as these boards should only be installed one at a time, row by row. However, as the water damage seeped across rows I have had to remove some boards with the result that it’s now proving challenging to install their replacements. I suspect that while some boards will click into place others will need to be trimmed and glued instead.
