Hello, We are looking for a licensed NSW Electrician to attend our retail store, in Newtown, to replace three faulty ceiling downlights. The Issue: Three recessed LED downlights on our main sales floor are out and no longer illuminate. This is affecting the overall brightness and professional presentation of our store. The Job: The task is to supply and install new replacements for all three faulty lights. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fittings in the high ceiling (approx. 3.5 meters). 2. Removing the three old downlight fittings. 3. Supplying and installing three new, suitable replacement LED downlights and/or drivers. 4. Ensuring the new lights' colour temperature and brightness match the other existing lights. 5. Testing the new lights to confirm they are fully operational. Light Specification (for sourcing a match): - Type: LED Downlight Deco, 13W Round, White, Dimmable, Warm White (from GoLights). See attached spec sheet. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured NSW Electrician. - You must have your own tools, including an A-frame ladder or platform appropriate for a 3.5-meter ceiling height. - Experience with commercial lighting, particularly recessed LEDs, is essential. - The contractor must be able to supply the three replacement downlight fittings. I've got a Daiken FTXM71QVMA Split System Air Conditioner. Last week I woke to the safety switch being tripped. When I isolated the cause it was the power switch to the Air Con Unit. I noticed some of plastic shielding around the cables outside had broken off so wrapped them all in electrical tape and that stopped the short. Today I turned the Air Con unit on, the indoor (head) unit responds to the remote control, changes modes etc and the fan starts however the outdoor unit (compressor) doesn't start. Hoping it's just a power issue but will be guided by the experts?

I came home to find the bathroom light on and the wall switch unresponsive — I couldn’t turn the light off. I left it overnight, and by the next morning, all the lights in the unit had gone out. Upon checking the fuse box, I saw that the light circuit breaker had tripped. When I attempted to reset it, a spark occurred, followed by a loud popping sound, and the main fuse board outside the unit was tripped as well. A strata-appointed electrician came to inspect the main board. They confirmed the issue is internal to my unit and suggested there may be a live wire fault, likely in the bathroom. Looking for a licensed electrician to diagnose and fix the fault safely.

A few odd fixing jobs needed. Hoping to have one person do them all. Here is the list; 1. Light switch does not stay off, must flick multiple times doesn't seem to 'catch' off. I have videos but does seem to be able to post them on this platform, can send on request. 2. Window latch does not close, needs to be fixed, maybe changed - not clear from tenants description but video provided 3.Cupboard 'push close' mechanism not working - seems to need to be replaced. I am living in an apartment and am requesting a quote for NBN (HFC) home network troubleshooting. Background: My apartment with 2 levels currently has an NBN HFC wall outlet (with nbn connection box connected) on Level 2 with Optus as our network provider. As the connection box/router is on Level 2, Level 1 is currently a blackspot for internet connection with no wifi/ wired connection (I have tried a powerline connection previously that yielded poor internet speeds) There is an existing coaxial wall port on Level 1 (I assume with existing wiring between level 1 and level 2) and I have been trying to use a MoCA (coax to ethernet) Adapter to create a wired connection to the NBN from Level 1. However the coax wiring between the 2 levels of my apartment may to be faulty as the MoCA adaptor cannot detect a signal through the coax. I would like to request a quote for the following To check if the coax wiring between Level 1 and 2 is working / repair if necessary To check if the wiring is compatible with MoCa adaptors If the coax wiring is not compatible for MoCa, advice for extending a wired connection through powerline or otherwise to Level 1 FYI the MoCa device I have tried to use https://www.asus.com/au/networking-iot-servers/wired-networking/wired-adapters/ma-25/ See attached images of coax/nbn terminal for the apartment complex and wall connections in my apartment if necessary

Hi, Need a qualified electrician to take a look at an upstairs bedroom fan. It’s relatively new, but has stoped working all together on certain settings and slow on other settings. I have another fan that it can be replaced with if need be.

NBN box battery needs replacing as it beeps every 15 minutes or so.

Install pendant light in concrete ceiling by licensed electrician. Wires have been disconnected on pendant. Will have ladder ready for installer no need to bring.
