I’m looking for an experienced, qualified tradesperson to assist with the installation of a large, approximately 43 kg glass chandelier in our home. We currently have a lightweight pendant installed in our hallway, which has a high, cathedral-style pitched ceiling. The existing electrical cable comes directly through the triangular peak of the ceiling. Our new chandelier has a wide, flat brushed-gold ceiling canopy, so we require a custom mounting solution to accommodate the pitched ceiling and securely support the chandelier. Scope of work: * Assess the existing ceiling structure and determine a safe mounting solution for a chandelier weighing approximately 43 kg. * Construct and install a custom mounting block or platform at the ceiling apex, providing a flat surface for the chandelier canopy. * Ensure the chandelier is securely anchored to appropriate structural framing using a suitably engineered, load-rated fixing system. * Finish the mounting block neatly to blend with the existing ceiling. * Remove the existing pendant light. * Arrange or complete the electrical installation through a licensed electrician. * Install, assemble and securely suspend the new chandelier at the appropriate height. Important considerations: * The ceiling is high and pitched, so suitable access equipment may be required. * Experience with heavy chandeliers, structural ceiling fixings and cathedral ceilings is essential. * Structural engineering assessment or reinforcement may be required depending on the existing roof framing. * All electrical work must be completed by a licensed electrician. Need install a chandelier in the dinning area. Need to add a point and connect it to a slimline switchboard changing it from 3 switch to 4switch . Also install a floodlight in the backyard by adding a point and connect it to an existing switch.

Hi I need a electrician to take down the ikea lights and install new chandelier lights today. Chandelier requires some assembly to make the picture. I can probs assemble it myself (edit: just finished assembling the chandelier parts) but I would love some person who can install it better and aligned to the ceiling than the airtasker who installed the previous one and also have some white spray paint if they have any to spray the wall. Can add $25 for the spray paint

Hi, we have purchased 4 chandeliers and an outdoor light and need assistance with installation.

Chandelier has already been installed and wired but needs to be rewired by electrician who is qualified to a separate switch that doesn't turn on all the other lights in the kitchen. Double story house, chandelier located downstairs. Was added a few months ago by a tradesman not qualified as electrician, wired to switch that turns on all kitchen lights. Need certification by proper electrician and rewiring to individual switch. Thanks

We had a light installed but it was faulty (ceramics cracked). Require it to be taken down, and the new one installed. May require a second person, as the dining table will need to be moved, and it is quite heavy (I am newly postpartum and unable to lift much).
