We looking to install a new 12-light Fiorentino Hoodshire chandelier in the front void of our home. The house previously had an old alarm/security system. The main alarm system box has already been removed from the house, however, the old alarm-related fitting/device pictured still remains high up on the ceiling of the void. We would like this remaining device removed and, if possible, use this location for the new chandelier/light point. The void currently only has wall sconces, so we understand there may not currently be a lighting circuit running to this ceiling position and new cabling may need to be run. The new light fixture is approximately 6 kg and will need to be properly supported and securely fixed to suitable framing/support rather than simply fixed to plasterboard. We understand this is not an easy or straightforward job. We appreciate that getting power to the ceiling location may involve cutting access holes or opening sections of plasterboard. We are completely prepared for significant wall/ceiling patching and repainting afterwards if necessary. We would rather have the access made and the job completed properly and safely than try to avoid plaster repairs.

Double story house, chandelier located downstairs. Was added a few months ago by a tradesman not qualified as electrician, wired to switch that turns on all kitchen lights. We had a light installed but it was faulty (ceramics cracked). Require it to be taken down, and the new one installed. May require a second person, as the dining table will need to be moved, and it is quite heavy (I am newly postpartum and unable to lift much).

The chandelier light has stopped working and needs to be replaced. See the photos of the existing (spike type) and new (spiral) ones, and match the height and locate the rafter behind the ceiling to hang the new light (spiral), which may require a shift in the location of the existing light. Issuing an electrical safety certificate is required. One more photo is being added following a few requests to show the exact location of the installation, which seems to require scaffolding. Could not get more photos as I am not living at the property at the moment.
