He did so by disconnecting the air conditioning unit, as he assumed water had entered it since it's located in the roof area of our apartment. At that time, one of our chandeliers with 8 bulbs also stopped working, but we only noticed this after the electrician had left. We now need someone to reconnect the AC unit and restore power to the chandelier as well.
