The surface currently has a metal frame with a plain inlay (approx. 4.5m long). We'd like a high-quality wooden top inset, finished in a darker, warm timber tone with a smooth varnished finish, suitable for outdoor conditions. Scope of Work: Site inspection to measure and assess Source and cut timber (e.g., spotted gum, blackbutt, or similar) Prepare and install into the existing metal frame (flush fit preferred) Sand, varnish/seal for weather resistance (ideally a satin/matte finish) Optionally, repolish timber deck boards if skilled and available Requirements: Experience with custom joinery or outdoor carpentry Ability to work within a heritage setting (non-invasive fixing preferred) Must provide examples of previous similar work Timing: Flexible but ideally completed within the next few weeks. I have a table top that needs fitting to a base. It’s a stainless steel top then a corian top on that. The table base needs 10 counter sunk threaded screws installed. They need to be tapped and counter sunk into stainless steel. Then the corian too needs glueing on. - Due date: Needs to be done on Sunday, 31 December 2023

Remove stain from wood and to treat it - Due date: Flexible

We need a wooden stairway/ladder to access upper level of garden. Must be very solid and suitable for being outside. Also have an area that needs some sort of plastic canopy put in place. Ideal if person can do both jobs.
