Find experienced local carpenters in Redfern

I have a 60mm diameter hole in a cabinet door (20mm thick) that I want to fill. I have a piece of particle board but I don’t have hole saw or jig saw to cut the piece to plug the hole.

Our wooden spindle on our staircase was broken by our removalists. Looking for someone to repair it and put it back in place. We have paint to repaint it but need someone who can repair it and make sure it’s sturdy.

Clean up and build a timber encasement above the shop, under the awning in Redfern. Paint it dark grey, leaving tiles exposed. nfill closing off facia above existing shopfront, approx 4400 x 900. Will require top, bottom plate and studs to suit. Facia board to be 10mm fc sheet or similar. Job will require minor make good of existing condition prior to installation. All gaps and junctions to be no more gapped or similar to suit. Will require paint finishing. Access is direct from street. Site inspection is advised.

Hi, I've got 5 lots of book cases with 6 shelves on each of them that need 3 coats of stain applied to each area and two coats of clear. Between each coat the timber needs to be sanded. Also, the whole area needs to be prepared, the screw holes patched, and everything taped so stain doesn't go on the paint. The timber is mostly ply with a hardwood capping. Also, there is a 1.5x1.5 area that needs to be painted cream, the same as the rest of the house. It was just rendered.

We need to put washer and dryer stacked on each other in this alcove. We need the middle shelf removed, as well as the shelves to the left (3 of these - only 2 shown in the photo) cut so that the machine fits whilst keeping as much of the shelves in place - as pictured. Red marked up the parts to be removed. And edges to be sanded and stained to match- they're solid wood. Thank you!

The 2.5 side by side full length wardrobes (originally from Germany)are not sitting square..as the back is unstable… not sure if its fixable.

I've like to get one long solid wood (walnut type of stain) shelf in my kitchen built and installed. Current photos of the kitchen with a small shelf are attached along with a rough mockup of what I'm looking for. Rough measurements: Left side shelf: L = 175cm Ideal depth = 32-35cm Right side shelf L = 41cm Depth = 26cm as right side wall has a window so can't go any deeper

I need two coats of wood stain/varnish applied to the second story panelling at the rear of our house. I've already sanded the vast majority of the surface, you'll just need to spend 1 hour doing the last bits of sanding and then however long it takes to apply the two coats of varnish. I'll provide the varnish, brushes, orbital sander and sand paper (although you can certainly bring any of your own equipment) so the main thing you'll need to supply is the ladder and a drop cloth. There is direct, rear lane access so easy to get everything set up and packed down. Preferred dates are: Sat 14 March - before midday Sun 15th - any time Tue 17th - in the morning

I need a cabinet maker or a carpenter to realign some heavy kitchen doors that have become misaligned.

I have new birch timber cabinet doors on a set of shelves. The height and angles are slightly skewed because of the hinges and the adjustments needed. I need someone with the skill set to adjust the hinges so the doors are square and flat on the bookshelf.
