We are updating our kitchen in Rushcutters Bay and would like to completely remove an existing wall-mounted circular glass rangehood/exhaust and stainless-steel flue (photo attached). The cooktop underneath is no longer used, so the rangehood will not be replaced. The job would include: • Safely disconnecting the electrical connection to the rangehood • Removing the rangehood and stainless-steel flue • Removing/disconnecting the associated ducting as appropriate • Patching/making good any holes left in the wall and/or ceiling, including the existing duct opening • Leaving the wall smooth and ready for subsequent splashback tiling/painting • Removal/disposal of the old rangehood and associated materials As electrical work is involved, we would like the electrical disconnection undertaken by an appropriately licensed electrician. Happy for this to be a tradesperson/team who can complete the whole job, or for the electrical component to be coordinated separately as part of the job. Please let me know what is included in your offer and whether you have experience with similar rangehood removal/make-good work. Photos of the existing rangehood are attached.

Hello, The gas pipe needs to be relocated further behind so that we can position the fryer in line with the other equipment. At the moment, the fryer is positioned approximately 10 inches further forward than the other appliances because the gas pipe needs to be adjusted behind it. We also need to make a hole in the PVC drain pipe and connect the smaller drain pipe from the glass-washing machine to it. Thank you.

Newly installed washing machine. The cold-water laundry tap leaks from the chrome tap/valve body when turned on. The washing-machine inlet hose connection itself is not leaking. Looking for a licensed NSW plumber to inspect and repair the leaking tap, or replace the tap if required. Photos attached showing the leak.

The water inlet at the wall has a cap that is very tightly screwed on and cannot be taken off by hand. The inlet is in a very difficult spot to reach which means proper plumbing tools are required.
