Hi, I am looking to make changes to my fireplace opening which is decommissioned. The list of activities roughly are 1. Laminate flooring (floor slates available) 2. Removal of current mantelpiece 3. Re plastering on edges 4. Movement of power plug to the side where the opening is 5. Close opening for a uniform look 6. Installation of wooden ventilation (top cover) 7. Hidden light 8. Hi there. Here is the story... We purchased two floating shelves of 150cm each and tried to insall them ourselves… That was a mistake! When trying to install the first one, we hit a metal stud as we were drilling a hole to install the wall plug. We drilled 8 holes for this first shelf that are now unusable…and must now fill these holes, find the right position on the wall to drill 8 holes for each shelf and install them. To recap, the work would be: - Remove the wall plugs and fill the 8 holes / repaint as necessary - Use a metal detector to identify metal studs in the wall - Establish the right position for the 2x8 holes of the 2x150cm shelves on the 350cm wall (each floating shelf must be supported by 8 wall plugs, each 20cm apart) - Drill the 2x8 (16) 10mm holes in the wall - Install the 2x150 cm aluminium wall shelves The wall plugs and screws (Fischer 10mm) and shelves are all provided. We also have Fischer 564378 No Tools Just Hands Repair Filler, White (Pack of 3).

One of my drawers is broken. Cannot open without lifting it up, and the rail on the side of the draw is broken off completely.

We have a pleated Velux blind that is only half-installed on the skylight above our staircase, and we weren’t able to complete the installation.
