The current carpet is rolled over the existing floorboards at two entry points which are the width of a door (as shown in the images), creating an awkward and unsightly lip. Scope of Work: • Modify the leading edge of the existing landing wood floorboards on two sides. • Carefully trim the floorboards back to allow for the installation of flush-mounted or low-profile stair nosing. • Securely install provided nosing and matching spare floorboards to create a clean, durable lip for the new carpet to butt against. We have a quantity of spare matching wood floorboards to facilitate this work. The goal is to move from a "wrapped carpet" look to a clean, professionally finished staircase edge.

Looking for an experienced carpet fitter / flooring specialist for a few small jobs (see photos): Bedroom 2: Carpet patch repair needed due to cat damage (see photo). I have spare carpet available. Both bedrooms: Install thresholds (carpet → LVT). I can supply z-bars, but would like to confirm the correct type before I order. Bedroom 1 doorway: LVT doesn’t extend far enough (see “under carpet” photo). Needs a small infill piece so the threshold can sit properly under the door line. Matching LVT available. General: A few areas where the carpet finish could be improved (see photos) — re-stretch / tidy if possible. Flat in W14. Flexible on timing but would like this done soon. Please only respond if you have experience with carpet fitting / flooring.

I have a laminate wooden floor where stupidly I threw away my replacement floorboard, I have between four and six damage boards that I need removing and replacing, given I don't have the originals we will probably have to rescue some of the Pristine ones that are under my cupboards and use these to replace the damaged area and then replace the removed slats under the cabinets with the closest fit that we can find. I need somebody who has the confidence to do this job and the understanding to help find the replacements.
