I need my wall to be sound proofed. So have the plaster wall cut open and then stuffed with soundproofing. It will then need to be made good.

We have the same type of window throughout the flat. However, in the bedroom, we can hear noise from outside coming in. We're on the first floor by the way and by the road. The rest of the flat is fine, and we do not have this issue elsewhere. As shown in the photo, there appears to be a gap between the window and it's adjoining section, so I think that may be the part that needs fixing. We need help with fixing this or some other parts that actually need fixing if that's not the cause.

I want to have a soundproofing for our bedroom to hear less footstep noise from upstairs flat. If I like how it’s done, I might ask for the corridor, living room and the kitchen too, but I want to start from the bedroom. So please give me quote for each room separately. I need help putting acoustic caulk around my windows to seal it from outside noise. I have the caulk and the gun and tried to do it but it has gone. Everywhere so I also need help removing the mess of it from my windows and re sealing. I also have a rubber seal I would like to attach to the windows that open to hell sound proof it. Any other methods of soundproofing I’m also open to.
