Kitchen sink is dripping when the tap is running. The rubber seal has failed and needs to be replaced.

The pull chain on a standard 2-metre roller blind has stopped attaching to the fitting and needs replacing. I need a local handyman for a quick 30-minute mechanical repair. I also need a kitchen cabinet door put back on its hinges. Should be a straight forward drill job!

I need help putting in some floating shelving into my wall - I’ve tried but pretty useless. It’s two long (120x20) shelves with 3x brackets. I’ve already got one shelf sorted with a single screw in for each bracket. It didn’t come with screws or anything, so I’ve bought some but might not be right. Ideally you’ll have some spare and those screw anchors to put into the wall.

We are merging 2 offices into one, so I need help in clearing out one office and moving all items to another office (Kitchen items), wardrobe, stationery, office equipment. There is a lift and a trolley. I also need help in assembling a flat pack kitchen unit on the first floor. Transport is not required as it's only from one floor to another in the same building. It's nothing fancy, but I need another pair of hands to help as well as someone who has time to assemble flat pack.

We have two blinds that need reinstalled in our office, I think they were put up wrong. I have been told it will need an electric drill and potentially some bracket replacements.

I need to replace some door handles at my address (8 doors in total). I want the knob type twist to open handles instead of the pull down handles that are already there.

Currently the area around my kitchen sink is bare and ugly. I want to put up new shelves and lighting to make it prettier. I am looking for someone to help me choose nice pieces for the wall (which I can order and pay for separately, from somewhere like Ikea/John Lewis/Wayfair etc), and to come and install them.

A few bits around our flat which need fixing, including: 1) Leaky tap - dripping from the nozzle (see attached photo) 2) 1 door handle, and one cabinet hinge has broken off which need reattaching (see attached photos) 3) one bathroom light and one bedroom light which won’t turn on. They both have new bulbs but still won’t turn on.

Job 1 – Integrated Fridge Door Fix I have an integrated fridge built into a cupboard unit. The cupboard door that’s mounted onto the fridge has come off and needs to be properly reattached and aligned. The hinges and fixings may need checking or replacing to ensure it’s secure and sits flush again. I can provide photos in advance. Job 2 – Built-in Spotlights (Electrical) I have recessed ceiling spotlights (wired-in units, not simple twist-and-remove bulbs): Kitchen: One unit has failed completely and needs full replacement (not just a bulb swap). Bedroom: One spotlight is flickering and likely needs diagnosis (possible driver/connection issue or replacement). Additional notes: Please bring appropriate tools and any common replacement parts (or advise in advance if specific parts are needed). Looking for someone who can properly diagnose rather than trial-and-error fixes. Please only respond if you have experience with integrated appliances and fixed lighting systems.
