The window blind cannot be fully closed because one of the lift cords is worn out and has become too thin. When I pull the cord to raise or lower the blind, it no longer grips properly on the roller mechanism. As a result, one side of the blind slides down unevenly and cannot stay in the desired position.

Fix 2 window blinds with same issue: 1. Restitch the bottom of the blind that holds the bottom bar (on one blind it is fully unstitched on the other it it unstitched in two places) 2. Adjust the blind so that it sits roughly 2cm further way from the window (to prevent it from catching on the sash handles for the window)

The blind won’t go up as the cable has fallen off

The lock on the sash window is lose and therefore cannot lock the window securely. The lock may require replacing or repairing. I have a video that better shows the actual issue, but unfortunately I am unable to upload onto the app, but I can send it to you separately.

Our kitchen sink is constantly getting clogged and then water fills the basin and is very slow to clear. Every time we clear it, it gets clogged up again, especially after we use the washing machine. We've had a number of plumbers come and work on it, and we've tried many things ourselves, but we haven't found a permanent fix yet. We've done suctioning/vacuuming, using air pressure/pumping with plungers to clear the pipes, using a snake from ScrewFix, and trying draino made from caustic soda. And lots and lots of vinegar (and sometimes with baking soda). We have a strainer that catches food from going down the sink, so I don't think it's food related. We are also careful not to put oil down the sink. We believe it's somehow related to the washing machine, but unsure how. The problem started not long after we had a new washing machine installed. Anyways, we're looking for an expert drainage specialist with the necessary equipment to see where the the blockage is occurring, help us understand what is causing it, and permanently clearing it and stopping it from occurring again.

Remove wooden planks from brickwork wall in our old office and fix to plasterboard wall in new office around the corner. Holes already drilled in planks of wood for fixing

I have an integrated fridge freezer. One of the hinges for the cabinet door (that attaches to the freezer) has come apart and the door sliders have come loose. I need to have the hinge fixed and the sliders fitted back.

After a leak was fixed by my building management, the repair of the plasterboard section is now my responsibility. I’m looking for someone to rebuild or replace the damaged plasterboard and repaint the affected area to match the existing wall. Scope: • Replace/rebuild the damaged plasterboard. • Prepare the surface for painting (including any sanding or smoothing). • Repaint the section to match the surrounding wall.
