Looking for a skilled and reliable Tasker to help with two DIY jobs: Job 1 – Install Floating Shelves 5 reclaimed scaffold board shelves (currently 100cm) need to be trimmed to 97cm to fit an alcove (see photo). The wood is thick and heavy, so will require a circular saw or similar to cut cleanly. Shelves are intended to be floating, but I’ve also bought brackets (pictured) for added strength. You’ll need to measure, trim, and install securely into a plastered wall. Job 2 – Fit New Brass Door Knobs (x3 doors) Install knobs on 3 internal doors with new brass knobs. 1 door also has a separate lock that needs fitting as it is a bathroom door. Doors have been stripped, and some old holes will need filling with wood filler – ideally colour-matched as closely as possible.
