Fit Venetian blind to kitchen window

I have a solar powered blind that I need installed in a velux skylight window. The window is quite high up so it requires a ladder. Top of skylight is approx 3.35 cm from floor. And I also have a curtain pole that needs to be installed on the wall!

The string broke down the centre of the blind (not the blind tape) and then the pulley system to pull up the blinds also broke

Installation of the roller blind - the blind needs to be trimmed to fit the window ( only a couple of cm) . You will need to bring a ladder to reach the top . Please only reply if you have done similar job before.

Untangle blinds. Can’t seem to move them

I need someone experienced with fitting blinds to reinstall a roller blind that has come down above a kitchen window. The blind is approximately 2.5 metres wide, so it is relatively heavy and will likely require two people or someone comfortable working with larger blinds. The original fixings have pulled away, and I believe the window lintel/casing may be metal, so this is not a straightforward plasterboard installation. The tasker will need: * A powerful drill suitable for drilling into metal/masonry if required * Appropriate drill bits and fixings * Experience assessing the existing mounting points and securing the blind safely * A ladder if needed Please only apply if you have experience with blind installation and are equipped to drill into metal or other hard surfaces. I am looking for a secure, long-term fix rather than a temporary repair. If possible, please include details of similar jobs you have completed.

One of the chords of my blinds is fraying. They are not nylon. Might be cotton? Needs repairing. The remaining 3 blinds require inspection and repair as required.

The old set of wooden Venetian blinds needs to be taken down and removed (off premises by you) and a new set of similar blinds installed (which we have). They are 2cms wider than the original blinds so the old fixings need to come off and the new braces reset slightly further apart.
