My landlady bought a velux blind for the skylight in my bedroom. She told me to install it myself but I've tried now (with a screwdriver, electric screwdriver etc.) and can't figure it out.

Re-stringing and mechanism replacement for venetian blind

I need someone to install 2x blinds in my bedroom please. I have everything needed, including tools, but just don't trust I can do it myself. Blinds are W90cmxL150cm.

Need blinds removed before painting. They're also a bit broken on the wall so will need to be sorted before reattached later anyway, but this is just simple removal job want it done in a way they're not destroyed in the process! We have a small step ladder to access them if you're tallish. They're about 260cm up.

The pull chain on a standard 2-metre roller blind has stopped attaching to the fitting and needs replacing. I need a local handyman for a quick 30-minute mechanical repair. I also need a kitchen cabinet door put back on its hinges. Should be a straight forward drill job!

Putting up a venetian blind

A roman blind with an old cord pull mechanism needs repairing, the metal hook in photo one looks like it has come out of the heading so it nolonger draws up properly at one side as not pulling on all of the strings. The second roman blind shown from the front just needs re-adjusting some how as the pleats are not hanging straight.

Fixings to a Roman blind are broken so the brackets are still in the ceiling but just need new brackets fix the Roman blind.

I have some blinds which need mounting (x4 windows one window has two half blinds) and may need new string cord / untangling for pulling up and down. at least x2 have very simple mounts one is velcrow the other is already on a bracket and just needs screwing in. I need help re choosing the right bracket for my blinds before arrival and may need you message me about this and to bring this. (will pay for this too). Light steam cleaning would be preferable too. Will need your own tools. At least one blind has simple Velcro attachment and wont need a railing. may need to come and see first.

We need roller blinds to be hung on 4 windows in our studio - the blinds also need to be cut to size.

One of the chords has become a little bit tough to pull and that has resulted in it becoming unsecured on one side at the top of the blind. Blind needs securing at the top and lubricating.

One of the chords of my blinds is fraying. They are not nylon. Might be cotton? Needs repairing. The remaining 3 blinds require inspection and repair as required.

The old set of wooden Venetian blinds needs to be taken down and removed (off premises by you) and a new set of similar blinds installed (which we have). They are 2cms wider than the original blinds so the old fixings need to come off and the new braces reset slightly further apart.
