I have motorised blinds from the brand Blocout (https://blocout.com/) There are 4 blinds in total. 2 of them have gotten stuck and are no longer responding to the remote. For 1 of the stuck blinds, it is stuck while rolled up and I need that one to be completely fixed or at least rolled down. The 2nd blind seems to have a power issue that has to be checked I don’t have any tools or a ladder. The blinds can be accessed by climbing a chair but may not be comfortable to work like that.

Hello would love for someone to help put up our new blinds as I have no idea. The blind is slightly wider than the window recess, so it will need to be face-fixed to the wall above the window rather than fitted inside the recess. The blind comes with universal brackets suitable for face fixing and the manufacturer’s fittings. The job will involve: * Removing two old blind brackets from inside the window recess * Measuring and centring the new blind above the window * Drilling and securely fixing the new brackets to the wall * Installing and levelling the blind * Fitting the supplied child-safety cord fitting Please bring your own drill / other relevant tools. I have two blinds that need removing in the kitchen and bathroom - I think this is quite straightforward. Then need to install two new blinds (with different fittings), which may need to be cut to size to fit in window recess. I also need a bathroom mirror hanging which may require drilling into tile/grout area.

My roof window is a Roto Frank model 339 HAU, manufactured in July 2011 (7/11). The code AL00A764D is the specific window type/size reference. — The guide cord has come loose on one side — I'm told this is a common repair and does not require replacing the whole blind. I can see that the cord has simply slipped out of the lower fixing clip. When you've time can you help me please? Thanks Jennifer

Hi! I need help repairing a faux-wood Venetian blind. The cord used to raise and lower it seems to have come loose or stretched from its attachment point, which itself seems to have become a little loose. I think it should be a fairly simple repair — it happened while I was just trying to raise the blind normally, without pulling hard or forcing anything. I’d need someone to check the mechanism and reattach or tighten the cord/fixing point. Thank you!

Install a window blind on a tall window. The ceiling height in the room is 3,6m. The blind dimensions are 138cm width x 300cm drop. We have an A-frame step ladder - photos attached.

To fix one blind in my kitchen and one blind in a bedroom

We need roller blinds to be hung on 4 windows in our studio - the blinds also need to be cut to size.

One of the chords has become a little bit tough to pull and that has resulted in it becoming unsecured on one side at the top of the blind. Blind needs securing at the top and lubricating.

One of the chords of my blinds is fraying. They are not nylon. Might be cotton? Needs repairing. The remaining 3 blinds require inspection and repair as required.

The old set of wooden Venetian blinds needs to be taken down and removed (off premises by you) and a new set of similar blinds installed (which we have). They are 2cms wider than the original blinds so the old fixings need to come off and the new braces reset slightly further apart.
