I thought my dishwasher was broken. An engineer said the unit was fine but the socket was faulty. Separately, my razor charger socket is faulty. I don't know if the two are connected. The consumer unit is fine. I need an electrician to inspect it.

Hi! I’m looking for someone to remove an old electric shower unit from the tiled wall above my bath and make the area look tidy afterwards. I’ve been told the unit is disconnected, but I’d like someone to check that both the electricity and the water pipe behind it are safely dealt with before removing it. Ideally, the job would include: Safely removing and disposing of the old unit Making sure the electrical cable and water supply are properly disconnected/capped Filling or repairing the holes left behind and making the area watertight Making the tiles look as neat as reasonably possible afterwards Please let me know whether you can cover the whole job or whether I’d need a separate electrician or plumber for any part of it. NEEDS TO BE TODAY Our power keeps intermittently going out for hours at a time, then will be fine, then happen again. Nothing seems to be amiss on the fuse box, and the power to the other businesses and residents in the building is fine. Need someone to investigate the problem!

Need help replacing an integrated washing machine with a new integrated washer-dryer. Old machine is Hotpoint BHWM129 and new one is AEG L7WE74634BI. Would also like some electrical work done around the house so hoping for someone that can do both things. Specifically, need to fix the extractor fan in the bathroom, fix lights in the bathroom, and replace five pendant light fixtures with new flush lights. Three of the pendant lights are currently not functioning properly so will need someone that can check the problem to ensure the new fittings work well.

I currently have a large combined socket panel on the wall, the wall is plasterboard (including power sockets, TV aerial, and phone/broadband point) positioned high up. I would like this removed and all services relocated lower down the same wall.
