I’m looking for an experienced roof plumber or metal roofing specialist to urgently inspect and repair water leaks in my single-storey garage in Malvern East, Melbourne. After two consecutive days of rain, I noticed approximately 5 separate water leak points along the northern brick wall, with visible water running down the bricks from near the roofline. The garage is approximately 3.5m × 6.1m with a corrugated metal roof. Important details: * All visible leaks are concentrated along one side (northern wall). * No visible leaks have been identified along the opposite wall or the middle of the garage. * Previous roof repairs included sealing roof joints and treating rust, but water ingress is still occurring. * The underside of the roof is currently exposed, making it easier to inspect. * Photos and a video of the leaks are available. Scope of work: 1. Inspect the roof-to-brick-wall junction, flashings, roof sheet edges, fixings and nearby gutters. 2. Identify the actual source of the water ingress. 3. Carry out appropriate repairs to stop the leaks, including flashing repairs or replacement and sealing where necessary. 4. Check for any other obvious water entry points along the affected side. 5. Our roof has been leaking in my 8 year old son's room. Twice in the last few years people have looked at the roof (including just a few weeks ago) and said they can' find any problems, but the leak is getting worse. During this most recent heavy rain, a clear line formed on the ceiling, which gives a more definite indication of where the issue is. The roof is very steep and 2-3 storeys high. Photos of the interior ceiling and the exterior attached, video also available. I can also share the report from the recent people who came but we weren't very impressed with the service and they clearly didn't fix the problem. We need this solved ASAP as my son can't sleep in there while it's raining and the room has a mouldy smell.
