URGENT: Replace 7.5m of rusted gutter – single-storey brick house, St Kilda Description: I’m looking to replace about 7.5 straight metres of gutter on a single-storey interwar brick house in St Kilda (3182). The gutter has rusted through and is leaking, so I’d like this done as soon as possible. Scope: Remove and dispose of the existing gutter along the rear side path (approx. 7.5m) Supply and install new Colorbond gutter. I’m not sure of the existing profile, so please identify it on site and match it. Colour to be confirmed (Monument grey colour) Set the correct fall and connect to the downpipe(s). Please check the downpipes’ condition and quote replacement as a separate item if needed. Check the fascia behind the gutter and quote any repairs separately Site details: Single storey, so it’s ladder height. Access is via a narrow brick side path, with no vehicle access past the front. Street parking is available on Charles Street. This is one of three attached units. The other owners have agreed to the work. Post Base: Clean up heavy rust on the shed post base, apply rust converter/protective spray, and secure a metal sleeve/bracket if needed for strength. Single-story, easy ladder access. The front house gutter has come loose/collapsed due to strong winds. Looking for a qualified roof plumber or guttering specialist to inspect the damage and repair or reattach the gutter. Please provide a quote and advise your availability. Photos can be provided if required.
