The insurance assessor stated that the cause was gutter backflow during heavy rain, due to the gutter draining to a single outlet in the middle of the gutter. They recommended the addition of two additional outlets, one at each end of the gutter. The roof is in good condition, as the garage roof is <10 years old. Roof and gutter are colorbond. Good access. The work is required before insurance repairs to the garage ceiling can progress. Location is Mount Claremont. I have a 2 story house and need a back and side gutter and fascia to be sanded and painted plus a timber fascia above garage door. I also want to have checked the gutter above top story window to assess why there has been some water seepage into the timber frame from this location - may just be a full gutter. After existing carport pitch is reversed, it will require a new gutter (approx 5.7m) & downpipe (approx 2.8m) after removing capping. Capping to be reinstalled on other side of carport where existing gutter has been removed.
