Bring gloves, there was previous rat activity, baited, disappeared about 6 months ago Install new insulation on angled roof (45degrees) in same space. Small: 2m x 1.7m roof height- 570mm battens Large 4m x 3.4 high roof height x 570 battens (7 total) Prefer woolen bats. 580mm width. Hello, I would like to remove old insulation in small roof space (approx 6m x 2m) above a kitchen. You can stand upright in there. Then install new woolen insulation on the roof above that angles down at 45 degrees (some had previously been installed as per photo). 4m wide space x 3.2m high (570 battens x 7). The smaller adjoining part is approx 2m x 1.7 (you cannot stand in this space). The manhole is located in the smaller space. There has been rat activity previously but they have either moved on or died. The old insulation has rat poops and I assume nests, but tenants have said there isn’t any activity. So, you are removing old insulation from floor in roof space and installing on roof. See photos to give you a better idea. Please bring an industrial vac to clean up old insulation, dust, poops. You will need a 2.4 ladder to get into manhole, supply all insulation (fits 570mm battens) and strapping to secure in place. Quote includes all removal of old insulation, and clean up. Please charge accordingly There are timber planks for you to move and stand on. Some timber has been relocated since photos. - Due date: Flexible
