Hi, I need help with end-of-lease make-good repairs at an apartment in Parramatta before we vacate.

 Main job: laundry closet door.

 The internal laundry closet door has visible damage and an attempted filler/patch repair that does not look clean. The door appears to be hollow-core. Approx dimensions are 2035mm high x 615mm wide x 35mm thick.

 Please inspect whether the existing door can be repaired/finished neatly. If not, please replace the internal door slab, reuse existing hinges/handle/latch where practical, fit/trim/hang it so it closes properly, and paint to match the existing finish.

 Also required if you can do it: small paint touch-ups.

 There is paint damage around a window sill/reveal, plus a few small scattered wall/door chips, scratches and scuffs. There is also a small dent on the master bedroom bathroom door. Please clean/sugar-soap marked areas where appropriate, fill only small chips/dents that need it, sand smooth, spot-prime if required, and paint-match the existing white/off-white finish.

 Preferred outcome: clean final-inspection finish suitable for a rental vacate inspection, with no obvious mismatched patches. Please advise if any area needs a small section repaint rather than spot touch-up.

 Please include materials and paint in your offer, or clearly say what I need to supply. Please only offer if you have experience with internal doors, basic carpentry/handyman repairs, and neat paint touch-ups. Before/after photos and a receipt/invoice would be appreciated. Stated budget is a starting point. Expect offers to vary depending on whether the existing door can be repaired or needs replacing/sourcing/painting.

Hi! I need an experienced handyman to help install a wall-mounted cat hammock/shelf in my apartment. I’ve purchased a FNIRSI stud finder to assist with finding studs and checking for live wires, but I don't have a drill, level, or mounting hardware, so you will need to bring your own tools and appropriate anchors/screws. Job Details: What's being installed: 2x wall-mounted cat hammocks, 1x wall-mounted corner shelf (pictured below). Wall Type: Plasterboard (Gyprock) over steel studs (apartment building). Mounting Requirements: At least one side of each piece should be mounted directly into a steel stud, both if possible. Otherwise, we may need heavy-duty plasterboard anchors to handle the weight of a cat jumping. What you need to bring: Drill & appropriate drill bits (including masonry/metal bits if needed). Spirit level. Hardware: Heavy-duty hollow wall anchors and appropriate fine-thread/self-tapping screws suitable for steel studs. Access: 3rd floor apartment building with stair access only. This wall is broken and need to be fixed and painted

Drill the two wall mounts 555mm apart as shown in instructions. But the beam behind wall is 5 cm narrow. Possibly need a horizontal timber bar or something. The old dryer mounts are where new mounts needs to be.
