I have a lever door handle that repeatedly comes off the spindle. This has been happening since the handle was brand new, so it appears the spindle isn’t holding/securing the handle correctly rather than being an issue caused by wear over time. The mounting plate appears to be securely attached to the door. I’m looking for someone experienced with door hardware to: * Diagnose why the handle keeps coming off * Permanently fix the issue, rather than simply refitting/tightening the handle * Replace the spindle or any other components if required * Ideally retain the existing brass handle and hardware Happy to pay for any replacement parts required in addition to the job price. Looking for an experienced end-of-lease handyman to help get our three-bedroom, approximately 120m² apartment ready for final handover. The apartment is in reasonably good condition and the work is quite minor — approximately 5–6 small areas requiring paint touch-ups, plus a little patching/plastering of minor holes and marks. The brown front door also has a few small areas where the green undercoat is showing and needs some colour-matched touch-up paint. Overall, a relatively small make-good job for someone experienced with patching, plastering and paint touch-ups.

We have the holds, the plywood and the backings. One of the boards will need to be trimmed as the boards are 120cm wide and the wall is 220cm wide. You would need your own equipment, screws and wall plugs for the instillation. The holds come with their own t-nuts and screws.
