I’ve had new carpet installed and now one of my internal doors no longer fits properly – it’s too tight against the carpet. The door is currently off its hinges and just needs to be shaved down slightly at the bottom and then rehung. Looking for a qualified chippy or someone experienced with this kind of work to: - Trim the bottom of the door to allow clearance over the carpet - Rehang the door securely Should be a quick job for someone with the right tools. Hi there - sorry my tasks changed. Grateful for a quote please including airtasker fee. Small plaster fix to bottom of fireplace. Fix door knob. Change out single clothes line as per attached photo (take off old one which is similar/round and affix new square one). The hook part is already affixed to the opposite wall so just needs changing out the part with the retractable line. Change two lightbulbs - one on high ceiling. One on medium ceiling. (Would also be grateful if you could look at shower door to see what might be needed to stop water leaking out when taking a long shower - it doesn't always do it - so may not need a fix but would appreciate if you can look at it and quote that separately). My wardrobe door needs to be screwed back onto its hinge. Whilst the door is narrow in width, it is quite tall and heavy, hence why I cannot manage it myself. (Please bare this in mind as I cannot assist due to a herniated disc in my back).

Hi! My bathroom window has two offset panes of glass, leading to an open gap between the two that cannot be closed. With an exhaust fan present, this gap is not needed for ventilation. It also looks terrible with the poorly painted/flaking frame and unnecessary metal pieces left behind. Window frames are all aluminium I think. Approx. 50cm x 90cm. I’m not sure if the glass and/or frames need to be replaced or if they can be reused and just aligned to each other. Essentially, I would like: closed off window (no more gap) with aligned glass and for it to look nicer than it does now! Let me know what you think you can achieve with this window and when you are free. Thanks :)

Various small, medium size pictures (approx 16) to be hung in Victorian terrace house. Walls are old style so they can crumble when a picture hook is put in - so someone who has experience of these kind of walls. Sadly I took some plaster off the wall when I hung a picture myself, but it doesn't always happen as managed to hang others in a bedroom okay with no crumbling. Also fix a door knob that won't turn - I took the knobs off but it seems to be the inside mechanism that needs to be replaced I think. Have attached a picture of the room - the pics need to be put back in the same places. I measured all the picture hooks before taking them off.I've put some of the pictures back up myself but ran out of steam. Mirrors not need to be rehung. Change two lightbulbs on high ceilings. (Total price including fee. If doorknob needs equipment to fix obviously I would pay extra for that).
