I have locked myself out of my house front.Door your old school based doorknob, that you turn and you insert a key, usually the ones that you slip a card through, but I can't seem to do that if someone can kind of help me asap that would be greatly appreciated

The front door knob of my elderly mother-in-law’s home is not properly latching shut when you attempt to close it. We will require someone with their own tools + replacement parts (if required) to repair the door handle so it can close properly.

Doorknob on one side isn’t catching the latch internally and just turns endlessly - therefore meaning the door locks from one side as you can’t engage the latch to open it.
