hi I’m looking for somebody who can put a door up in my bedroom, and it doesn’t even have a hole to put a door knob in, is there anybody that would be willing to help me & how much does it cost, thank you.

My old tenants lost the door knob on this old interior door and now there is just the square shaped rod coming out one side. I got a door knob from Bunnings but the hole isn't large enough to fit on the door (photo of door knob that didn't work). I need to have some sort of solution in place by Wednesday this week to open and close the door - I'm ok is the door know doesn't match with the others I have just something to tie things over.

The latch of the Ikonic door knob does not lock into the strike plate. This needs to be fixed. The latch seems to be sitting too low with respect to the strike plate. The strike plate may need to be moved down or up, to align it correctly with the latch. Or it may be sufficient to file the strike plate opening to get the latch to lock properly. Note that this is a door knob on a bedroom door and has a privacy feature. It is not the door knob on an external door.

1. Need hole for door knob cut or drilled out. I have new replacement door knob but the original knob is old type only needed small hole in door, replacement is more modern type that needs a full hole . Need the hole cut/drilled and might as well fit the knob while you are there. 2. I have a security bolt (is two screws/bolts) I want installed on an internal brick plastered (I think) wall. Photo of the instructions attached. I had one fitted elsewhere years ago and drill slightly came through other side of wall so want to avoid that this time if possible (or patch up other side if must which we did last time, was not much).
