I have an old metal shed, roughly 1.5x1.5m and looking to add ventilation and a doorway to convert it into a chicken coop. I have chicken wire and open to buying additional things. Other things needed are nesting boxes, chicken tunnel and roosting rack. I'm part way converting a fruit orchard into a chicken run, so any tips regarding that also appreciated. (but you need to cut it to fit) Stretch and secure the net over the entire top of the existing chicken coop to stop wild birds getting in and eating feed. May require installing one centre support post so the net stays raised and doesn’t sag. Net must be pulled tight and fixed securely around the perimeter. Materials: Net supplied but nothing else is. I need a handyman or carpenter to help finish off the exterior of my chicken coop nesting box. The frame is already built, but the edges and cement sheets need to be cut, squared up, and fitted properly so it looks neat and weather-proof and ready for me to paint. Job includes: • Cutting and installing small cement sheet panels to cover gaps • Neatening edges and corners • Making the box look like one clean, square unit • No painting required The box is approx. 2m wide × 1m tall (small job). I have the cement sheet, nails etc.

I have an existing chicken coop and am looking for someone to supply and install a wire fence (with a gate) around it to secure them during the day, as I cannot let them free roam anymore. I have marked up in red where the fence would go; approximately 15 lineal metres altogether. The fence would connect to the existing rear wood fence and shed. Happy to explore material options; would love a mix of wood and wire if possible but open to suggestions.

I need a couple things done with my chicken coop/area. I thought I had finished making it but a few of the buggers keep getting out 🙃 1. A roof (this will be done with just netting / mesh which I have already purchased (some of the chickens are flying over) 2. Moving the pavers that are on the grass currently to the gate (some of the chickens are digging and crawling under) I have attached a few photos. Photo 1 - you’ll see the first fence we put up Photo 2 - shows the pavers I’m talking about that will need to be pushed back onto the fence. But photo 2 also shows the added taller fence we added Photo 3 - just for fun. Added extras - if you are able to remove the veggie patch that is in there, and fix up the bricks around my (hopefully okay) Rosebush. That would be amazing. I have no idea on time and pricing, it shouldn’t be too hard of a job. I’m just too medically unwell achieve it myself, so would love the help. I would like to restore my old chicken coop to be able to house chickens again. Potentially add some wire fencing around it also.

Have a chicken coop that needs rebuilding - the chicken run to be precise. As per photos - there's no cross beams so it keeps falling down and the chickens keep getting out through the wire. The nesting coop itself is fine, just the protection around it. Roughly 10m long and 2m high. Don't have any spare building supplies so BYO if you have offcuts of timber/chicken wire or can pay upon invoice if you need to get supplies.
