I have a 2017 21.5 inch iMac 4k Retina Display. Has recently begun making clicking/knocking sounds and is very slow to start up. Is only used for the internet as a 2nd computer for studying. So don't need it to be high speed, just to function without the click.So not looking to put a SSD in a HDD will do just fine. It works totally fine including browsing but everything I have read says this is most likely a drive issue on its way out. Looking for someone who has done this many times before with iMac screen removal.

Connect a NAS machine and an optom machine to the internet with ethernet cable - find out if there's a patching issue if it's not connected. Config the optom machine follow a guide provided - including network address config and also fill in the SMB folder (NAS) as destination.
