Find experienced local carpenters in Marrickville

I am looking for someone skilled and experienced to install a professional climbing system for my native Wonga Wonga Vine on a corrugated sheet fence in Marrickville. We would like the vine to grow and cover the fence in a natural way. The system needs to sit off the fence slightly (for good airflow and to prevent heat from the metal burning the plants). Must be a stainless steel wire system suitable for long-term outdoor use. Needs to include a way to tension the wires as they slack over time. I’d love advice on the best type of wire system to use, so experience with plant trellis installations is important. Please only apply if you have done this type of work many times before.

Here's what we need. We've got a customer parking sign that needs a proper wooden frame, and honestly, we'd rather get someone who knows what they're doing than bodge it ourselves. The sign is 2m wide by 1m high, made from alu composite panel material. We need a frame that's going to be sturdy enough to handle whatever the weather throws at it and last for years without falling apart. Good news is we've got everything you need - workbench in our factory and plenty of wood to work with. You just bring your skills, we'll provide the workspace and materials. Looking at the sample photos, you can see a similar kind of setup we're after. We probably need a more solid construction than the sample photo - as we want this to last for a long time. We're thinking around $500 for this project - could be slightly higher or lower depending on the final product. We think someone can knock this out in a day if they start at 10am and finish by around 6pm. Come build it right here at our place. Remove the current cabinets and bench top from the kitchen and replace with new ikea cabinets and timber bench top. All new stuff will be sourced by us. Dont need to worry about disposal. Build the tray/drawer the bins will sit in, attach to sliders (I have these) and attach door that pulls the bin drawer out. My DIY attempts have failed! It won’t slide out smoothly. We are looking for someone to remove this two door cabinet in our kitchen so we can get a dishwasher installed under the counter. We would like to keep the green kickboard at the bottom if possible so we can reinstall it once the dishwasher is in. The counter top may need to be removed to get the cabinet out, or at least supported so it doesn't crack. It would be ideal if rubbish can be disposed of off site but can negotiate. Thanks!

Hi, I need a skilled carpenter to build a ramp which would sit on 2 steps inside our house. See attached photo. The width is approx 88cm, and the steps are approx 13cm (each) high. This is not for a wheelchair, it’s for our dogs which have back issues, but my husband and I (he’s 100kg) needs to be able to walk on it too. The gradient would probably mean the ramp is around 80cm long. I’m looking for one singular piece, which is staggered to cover both steps. The ramp needs to be non slip and have non slip base. I don’t want it to be permanently fixed though (able to move for cleaning ect), but when in place, for it not to move. If you’re up for the task it would be great if you could come and measure etc first. Thanks!

I need 8 small ramps made from wood. The ramps are for steps for my dogs (which can’t use stairs due to back issues), but will also need to be able to take the weight of a human (110kg). The ramps are not permanent, more so solid enough to stay put (perhaps with some non slip mat under neath). The two areas are: 1) outside. There are two steps and I require 6 ramps in total. A) For the top step the approx measurement is 15cm high, 23cm deep, and 88cm long. I need 3 ramps this size. These ramps will sit on the stair itself. B) for the bottom step (where you step up from ground level) the approx measurement is 20cm high, 34cm deep and 88cm long. These ramps will sit at ground level and be pushed up against the step. The material needs to be suitable for outside. The ramps need to be lacquered / stained. 2) inside. There are 2 steps and I require 2 ramps in total. A) for the top step the approx measurement is 13cm high, and 25cm deep and 121cm long. I require 1 ramp this size. This ramp will sit on the stair itself. B) for the bottom step (where you step up from ground level) the approx measurement is 14cm high, 25cm deep and 121cm long. I require 1 ramp this size. The material needs to be suitable for inside. This ramp will sit on the ground level, and be pushed up against the step. Both ramps need to be lacquered/ stained. The task would involve a measurement on side to ensure all dimensions are correct (Marrickville), and the completed ramps made and brought back to the house no later than 2 May. Our kitchen cabinets are high and deep making them awkward to organise and access. We'd like to add additional shelves to them to make them more useful. We’d also like to add more shelves in our wardrobes if possible too. Flexible on budget, I understand material and labour costs will vary. For the kitchen cabinets - looking at adding a shelf to the lower section to split it out a bit Main bedroom - adding shelves next to where the little flat pack one is now Bedroom 2 - add shelves where the vacuum is currently with enough space for the vacuum to go next to it if possible.
