Looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to install a Canopia Sophia awning (1.6m x 0.9m) over my rear door entrance. Awning materials & assembly instructions are supplied in kit. Will need to bring own tools & appropriate heavy duty timber screws, washers & weatherproof sealer. The awning will be attached to 50mm (approx) thick timber, which sits behind grey mini orb cladding. Happy for the awning brackets to be neatly pre-drilled and mounted using standard spacer sleeves/washers to keep the mini orb flat.

Looking for a licensed electrician to help reinstate two existing wall power points that appear to have been removed/covered during installation of a built-in wardrobe by a previous owner. The wall openings are already there and wiring appears to still be present behind the plaster (see photos). We’d like the existing points assessed and reinstalled/finished properly so they are safe and functional. Scope includes: • Assess existing wiring behind wall openings • Supply and install required fittings/plates if needed • Reinstate and make safe operational power points • Ensure work is completed to Australian standards and provide any required compliance documentation Photos attached for reference. While onsite, we’d also appreciate discussing some possible additional room improvements in another area and receiving advice/pricing options separately if suitable. Garage 5.3m x 3.6m made of single brick with some double brick pillars requires an inner wall of wood frame and plasterboard. Also a ceiling is required, including new battens to be attached to beams (beams are spaced 0.8 m apart so too far apart for plaster to be attached without battens) Garage door to be replaced with a sliding door (I purchase this). Any gaps around this filled with wood or wall. Also needed is a 2.3 section of internal single-sided plaster wall separating garage from the adjacent shed/studio. Photos have wood airing against walls and boxes - these will be moved by me asap.

Power point to be installed in cupboard to power a screen. Cupboard area is close to roof where l the cabling lies. Nothing fancy needed just done right. This weekend or early next week ok. Thanks!

Built-In Wardrobe / Design & Build Reservoir VIC 3073 Hi there, I’m looking to have a small, functional built-in wardrobe installed in my granny flat bedroom. There is an existing split system air conditioner on the wall, so the wardrobe will need to be designed around it (unit will remain in place). The TV will be removed. Existing drawers can either be removed or incorporated into the build if suitable. I require a full-length hanging rail (long rack for hanging clothes). Approximate dimensions of the space: • Width: ~2 metres • Height: ~2 metres At this stage I’m prioritising functionality and affordability. Ideally I’d like: • Floor-to-ceiling wardrobe (small space) • Designed around existing split system • Internal shelving + long hanging rail • Simple, clean finish (white melamine is fine) • Doors optional for now (happy to source mirrored sliding doors separately later) I’ll also be starting study soon, so practical storage is important to help maximise space in the room.

Some water damage from the roof. The stairwell x1 and front porch x2 ceiling plasterboard needs to be fixed and painted over due to potential mould damage and water marks. Original plasterboard paint can be provided.
