Hi, I’m looking for a licensed plumber to inspect and fix a knocking/banging noise from the water pipes. The house has copper water pipes running through the roof space, and the roof space is accessible. Issue details: * Cold water taps in the house make a knocking/banging noise when turned on * The noise sounds like a pipe hitting the wall/framing/ceiling * It only happens when turning taps on, not when turning them off * It suddenly became much louder today * The noise seems to be coming from inside the wall or roof space * No obvious leaking noticed so far I suspect it may be a loose copper pipe, loose pipe clips/supports in the roof space, or possibly a water pressure / pressure limiting valve issue.
