Need to fix a leak in the irrigation line running under my lawn. This leak is quite close to the tap/origin. Alternatively renew the system if there are any suggested improvements that can be made to our irrigation setup

I was emptying my pool water level a little and the shower drains on the lowest level of the house started to overflow. This has happened before and the previous plumber who has now retired undid the air breathing cap on the main sewer at the back of house and a heap of pressurised blocked water and crap came out and problem was solved.
