Looking for someone experienced with door hardware to spec up our internal door handles so I can order replacements. One handle has already failed and come apart, so this needs doing. All our doors use the same builder hardware, so it's really one measure-up plus a count: - Measure one door for the specs I need to order: backset, door thickness, spindle size, rose/backplate size - Walk through and confirm the count and type — passage vs privacy/lock vs any keyed doors (roughly 12 sets total) - Give me a simple written list I can hand to the shop so I order the exact right parts I'll buy the hardware myself once I have your list. **Install will be a second booking with you** once the sets arrive — happy to agree that price on the day so you've got the full job locked in. Hi, I need someone to repair two internal door handles at my home in Strathfield, NSW. For both door handles: The lever handle has come off the door (see attached photos). The latch mechanism still appears to be installed, but the handle no longer stays attached. I’m looking for someone who can: * Inspect the door handle and determine the cause. * Reattach and secure the handle if possible. * Replace any missing screws or small parts if required. * If the handle is faulty and cannot be repaired, please let me know what replacement hardware is needed. Please bring basic tools (including Allen keys and screwdrivers). If replacement parts are required, I’m happy to reimburse the cost separately with prior approval.
