Carpenter to trim and install vintage timber front door I have a vintage solid timber/leadlight door (approx. 1975 H × 755 W × 35 mm) to replace my existing front door (red paint) (approx. 1930 H × 770 W). Existing door frame/jamb is in place. New door will need approximately 45 mm trimmed from the height, hinges accurately recessed/fitted, door hung and aligned, and existing/new hardware fitted as appropriate. Thank you

Task: Install newly supplied hinged aluminium fly screen door onto an existing steel door jamb. The existing door jamb has two welded hinges that will have to be removed prior to installation of the fly screen door. Fly screen door, hinges, striker plate and self drilling screws will be provided.

Attempted to install WallMate for hanging of shelf. First one installed successfully, second screw now stuck in plastic anchor. Unable to advanced or remove.

I just bought a mirror shoe cupboard and managed to damage 2 hinges on the door. The door is heavy and it’s that cheap wood chip stuff so it’s crumbly. Just worried the door will fall off.
