A few Handy man tasks around our apartment. Like replacing some cuts in picture rails and skirting board and patch holes in plaster after cupboard removal in two bedrooms.

Internal door has a split in side and broken from hinge. Needs glue/clamping and reattaching to hinge in frame. Needs a carpenter with the right equipment and materials and knowledge. Neutral Bay location.

Take old frame off a door space and make it a neat clear frame. Then also need some walls plastered, holes fixed including where the sockets will be removed. And if you know a carpenter… need some practical cupboard space installed under some stairs.

Need sink unblocked, draino hasn’t worked

Need close to 4 timber window frames repaired on my aunts house. The frames are half decent and not rotted Need to be stripped back to timber, sanded, primed, painted and bogged up and re siliconed.

Sofa has 6 legs. Front left leg has detached. Original screws seem too short and glue has perished. This has happened before on front right leg and repairs worked but my guy isn’t free. Id estimate it is a 1 hour job. Old glue has been removed. Aside from aptitude the job needs a drill, 2 25 ml screws and 1 40-50 ml screw. I have wood glue but you are welcome to bring your own

Our fixed ballet barre has broken away from the wall at the one end and we are looking for something that can reattach it from the wall. We also have a free standing brass ballet barre that is missing some screws on one side which hold it together, that we would love to have working again. Images attached of the broken barre at the wall and the free standing brass barre that currently cannot be used due to missing screws (I included images of the screws used on the other side for reference). Looking for this to be done on Monday or Friday between 11.30am - 2pm or Thursday between 12-2.30pm.
