When using the remote to turn on our Arlec ceiling fan, the fan doesn’t start and beeps twice. At first when the issue started occurring, it would start and then stop again repeatedly but now it won’t start at all. When turning on the light it switches on completely fine, it’s just the fan that won’t turn on. I’ve done some investigating on google for answers and the most likely explanation that came up was this: “With Arlec ceiling fans, this combination of symptoms—where the unit beeps responsively to commands but the fan itself remains dead—is a classic, known behavior pointing to a faulty internal remote receiver module (specifically the controller unit tucked inside the top canopy) or a dead starting capacitor. The electronics are registering your command (the beep), but the switching circuit inside the receiver is broken and failing to pass that physical electric current down into the motor windings.” This is a possible fix google said: “Replace the Internal Remote Kit: An electrician can drop the top canopy and swap out the broken receiver block. Arlec sells replacement modules such as the Arlec Remote Control Ceiling Fan Kit or the Arlec Grid Connect Smart Kit at retailers like Bunnings Warehouse.” If this is the problem, I can buy the kit at Bunnings and we would just need it installed on the fan. Looking for an experienced renderer / texture-coating specialist to repair and blend several small patch areas on exterior rendered walls at my home in Botany. The drill holes have been filled and I had the paint colour ‘professionally matched’, however the repairs remain visible because the paint & texture didn’t match the existing rendered finish. I also have a physical piece/sample of the original textured coating available to help identify and match the finish. The job is to: * Prepare/feather the areas as required. * Match the existing fine rendered/acrylic texture. * Blend the repaired areas into the surrounding wall so it doesn’t look any different. * Touch up the repaired areas as required I am not looking to re-render or repaint the entire walls — the aim is simply to make the individual patches blend as closely as possible with the existing finish. There are approximately 15-20 small patches across the exterior wall where small holes have been drilled previously. Photos attached. I need existing bedroom door modified to accommodate a hole for a cat. Solution is the cut off the bottom of the door as per the image and install the hinge that would keep that cut off piece attached to the door. The hinge does not need to be the same size it is just for reference.

I need an installer to supply and install full blockout roller blinds (4) and a sheer curtain across the full wall in two bedrooms. Each room has a 3.6m wall span. This may include drilling into bathroom tiles (porcelain) with appropriate tools to avoid cracking, and may require sealing holes (e.g. with silicone) from the old towel rail's bracket/screws - if the new towel rail fitting does not cover them. 2) Install wardrobe clothes rail with 1 or 2 new wall bracket. The new metal wall bracket will replace an old plastic wall bracket. Parts will be supplied - specifically, the new towel rail, bracket and screws; as well as new metal wardrobe wall brackets. The tasker may need to bring a power drill and silicone.
