We have 2 dimmer switches that don't work any more. The corresponding fuses are not blown. Its due to either the wiring behind the switches or a mouse may have chewed the wire, because the dimmer switch works occasionaly

The light switch in our bathroom has ‘broken’ - the switch is hovering in the middle and won’t ‘click’ to either side. As a result the light won’t turn on. I’m not sure if this can be fixed or if the switch will need replacing. There is no natural light in this room so we’d love to get it fixed asap.🙏 Also, in the same room we have a power point (two outlets on one plate) that we would like to have investigated - it might be completely fine but we’d rather be safe than sorry. I have two ceiling fans that need to be installed in an apartment. One fan will replace an existing fan, and the other will be installed where there is currently a light fixture. Both fans are Devanti DC motor models with lights and remotes. They are to be installed in a studio apartment. Additionally, I require power points to be installed on either side of the bed head.

I’m looking for a license and electrician to complete an electrical safety compliance inspection and a smoke detector compliance inspection in a studio apartment located in St Kilda. The property has approximately six power points, three lights and one split system air-conditioner.

I want to replace the cord for the light

Last night, a bedside lamp bulb exploded, and the power went out in the apartment. The switchboard was checked, but resetting the circuit breakers didn’t restore power. Need an electrician to diagnose and fix the issue

Bottom level unit of 12. Only unit experiencing issues. Internal electricity board keeps tripping. May know the source of problem (an electrical power point). Happens intermittently and is now taking hours for switch to be able to be turned back on. Payment plan preferred depending on size of job. Thanks.

Existing oven is hardwired or into a socket? Don't know. We've bought 2 new ovens and want them to be connected via power points rather than hardwired. So - install new double 15amp power point in adjoining cupboard, and if existing oven is hardwired then fit a plug so it can go into the new power point. Also, more info about the ovens to be installed. Not sure if a new circuit is required - my estimated budget may need adjusting.
