Hi, I’m looking for someone to fix a blocked downpipe at my house. When it rains heavily, water overflows from the gutter instead of draining properly. I suspect the downpipe is blocked. Details: Single-storey house One affected downpipe (see attached photo) Likely blockage causing overflow during heavy rain Easy access from ground level What I need: Inspect and identify the blockage Clear the downpipe (and gutter if needed) Ensure proper water flow after fix Preferred timing: flexible, but sooner is better (before next heavy rain). Install rain water tank (100 litres) in position near a rainwater gutter down pipe. Will require tools to cut down pipe, affix water diverter and reattach rain water overflow to drainage.

1. Battens: The back portion of the roof is sunk. For the "sunk" section, replace the warped timber battens to ensures tiles interlock correctly to stop leaks. Check other areas as well for potential issues. 2. Find and replace all cracked tiles to prevent any leaks. I have roughly 50 spares. Have taken videos from the recent rain where the crack is surely present. That will consume 15 tiles. Remaining can be used to replace the ones which are close to end of life or semi cracked. I have some black roof sealant paint as well from the previous job. Paint these tiles to match rest of the roof. 3. Junction Leak where the sunroom meets the main roof: Wetness here probably indicates failing apron flashing. Install new zincalume/metal flashing where the sunroom meets the main roof and remove the retired exhaust outlet 4. One gutter drainage: Cut a hole in the gutter, secure the pop, and pipe it to discharge away from the house All parts on actual + labour. Please feel free to quote your realistic offer.

A truck accidentally caught the gutter and moved it slightly. The gutter bracket has come loose from the timber and the gutter needs to be repositioned and secured again. Needing to solve a heavy rainfall issue where the water ends up in my garage the drain next to the downpipe does not get rid of the water it’s like a supplement drain with limited drainage.
