Looking for an experienced handyman / drainage-experienced tradie to extend existing stormwater downpipes so water is directed further away from the base of the house, plus one detached games room. There are 5 downpipes total: • 3 along the driveway side wall – One already has a soakwell/bucket with drainage gravel installed. This one just needs an extension pipe running neatly into the hole in the grate sitting on the bucket. – The other two need simple, effective extensions to carry water further away from the house (open to your recommendation on best approach). • 1 downpipe on the opposite side of the house – Currently discharges onto a concrete slab and runs into a garden bed where the ground level rises slightly. Needs a practical solution to redirect water away. • 1 downpipe at the rear (white) servicing a detached games room – Same aim: divert water away from the structure. – Also need to repair/patch a small hole near the end of the existing pipe, as shown in the photos. Rust at the lower ends of the pipes has already been addressed on all but one (can sort beforehand if needed). A Holman PVC pipe (shown in the photos, including one photo on its own) is shown attached to one of the house downpipes. This is representative of all of them, as the perimeter is slightly larger than the end of the existing house pipes. It appears to be approximately the same size as the white downpipe, which is also shown. All materials, fittings, pipes and gravel to be supplied by you. I’m keen for this to be done properly, using correctly sized and compatible fittings, and am happy to follow your advice on the most sensible and durable solution for each location. Before accepting a quote, I’d appreciate a very brief outline of how you’d approach the job. Job needs to be fully completed by the end of next week. Photos attached for context.

Recent windy storms dislodged the join in a downpipe on my highset home. I would like it repositioned and reattached permanently. It is on a front corner of the house with easy access.

Area of the roof that needs attention is around 50cm to 100cm, thats it I need flushing installed in the roof to direct the rain water path and protects insulation and plasterboard. I've got the flushing material already. Also, need a downpipe installed.

Looking for a qualified plumber to complete two small plumbing/drainage repairs at a residential property in Margate. Both are above-ground PVC pipes and easily accessible — no digging required. --- 1️⃣ Garage downpipe – rear corner of garage PVC downpipe joint at the top elbow/horizontal section is leaking and showing mould. Likely cause: poor seal or misalignment at the elbow joint. Task: Inspect the joint and reseal or replace fittings as needed. Check that the short horizontal run has adequate fall for drainage. Ensure water discharges cleanly away from the garage wall/slab. Access: from ground level, right-hand rear corner of garage (see attached photo). --- 2️⃣ Under-house PVC drain (approx. 3 m run) Horizontal pipe under the house is installed flat with no fall. Task: Re-hang or re-support the pipe to achieve correct gradient (about 10–20 mm per metre). Supply new brackets/hangers as required. Confirm clear flow by running water through the pipe before completion. Good crawl-space access available.

The top section of my black downpipe has rust and bubbling paint where it connects to the box gutter. Need someone to clean and treat rust, seal any leaks, repaint in matching colour, and ensure it’s secure. Easy access.
