Looking for someone who would be able to help me sheet an external lean to laundry this weekend. I am not able to take photos until Friday, as I’m travelling back to Queensland to get this job done. Job is in Newtown, Ipswich. It’s an external lean to laundry that is stripped back to studs. The laundry room is approximately 2m x 1.8 in size, and with sloping ceiling (ceiling is about 3m high on one side and about 2.2 on the lower side). I’d need help with the following; - picking up the cladding from Bunnings (James Hardie 2400 x 1200 x 4.5mm HardieFlex cladding) - will need 8 to 10 sheets depending on exact measurements - will need the cladding picked up on a ute (I’m available to help with loading the cladding on the Ute but I don’t have a ute to pick it up myself) - I’ll pay for the cladding so cost of materials doesn’t need to be included. - available to help with cutting and installing the sheeting on the laundry walls and ceiling (will require a ladder and tool to cut the cladding/sheeting). I’ve installed plasterboard sheeting myself so can assist with this. I don’t need the cladding “finished” or any joint set with plasterboard - just the sheeting installed. Alternatively - happy for you to quote if you would rather work alone. I realise there’s no photos yet - I will take photos on Friday before the job and a firm price/quote can be organised at that point or once the job has been viewed in person. I’ve included a photo of the back of the house where the exterior of the laundry can be partly seen.

Needing 2x sheets (1.2x2.7x9mm) cement sheeting installed on exterior wall. Weatherboards need to come off. We'll paint etc just need the install.

We may have some cement sheets used in the eaves of our main house; walls and ceilings in our cottage, plus a few loose sheets. I am seeking inspection, advice and likely removal (with price quote please)

New town houses are going up at the rear of our house. I want to build a soundproofed enclosure for our 3 x air conditioners that are next to the new neighbours small 2m back yard. I would like 2 x 'air gapped' 100mm gap of cement sheeting built. So it is (not touching). Then install soundproofing insulation bats in between the cement sheets or stuck to one side. (i have the Bradford sound proofing bats already to use). I also have the styrofoam insulation sheets that are in the photos that can be attached too. So the person who builds it will also have to build the air gapped cement sheets on the ceiling of the enclosure and then put back the corrugated steel roof. ( I already have heaps of corrugated steel for roof). I would like the person to pull down all the current materials. So they can rebuild the enclosure. There is wooden framing already there. Although I want an additional wooden frame built to ensure its not touching. I would like it to be very well gap filled & caulked so all edges are sound proofed totally. Removal of temporary cement sheet wall and Shelving and dispose in the skip bin out the front

Our rear verandah – cement sheet lining has three key ‘openings’ that we want to block up in the most cost effective manner. They are, (a) small circular hole where a heater flue was removed, (b) opening on top of sliding door which was replaced and (c) on top of laundry window where an external roller blind was removed. These openings have seen possums and other visitors climb into the roof cavity. I have 3 cement sheets on site already, 2400 long which can be used. Just after someone handy to block up these holes asap – I am not after a perfect job, if I wanted perfect, I would replace the whole roof lining. So I am very understanding. Individual must have carpenters experience

In preparation for tiling , affix cement sheeting to a small splash back area behind stove top. Handyman to supply cement sheeting. Current sheeting is 6mm. Please check photo for confirmation of thickness . Measurements are (620mm w x 440mm h)and (810mm w x 440mm). Photo attached
