Old flex duct to be removed, it is only discharging into roof space. Need new to discharge thru roof. Fan stopped working in rangehood

So the washing machine works but does not clean clothes anymore they just keep getting more dirty and I think they don’t spin anymore as they remain wet. We can see some dirt and pieces of plastic coming out of it we have no clue what’s happening. Either it’s dirty from inside or broken. So we are looking for someone who can help us fix it.
