We just bought an Omega Rangehood . As our Kitchen was built before 2023 the distance between the cooker and rangetop is under 65cm. We need someone to trim the current cupboard and install the hood.

Hello, I'm looking for someone to install a new Bellini 60cm slide-out rangehood. I've removed the old rangehood and purchased the replacement. The front of the new unit fits the cabinet opening perfectly, but the centre section sits slightly short of the side cabinetry, so the cabinets may need to be built out a little to provide suitable fixing points. I do have some laminated timber available if needed. It doesn't look loom like much modification will be needed. There is already an existing power point from the previous rangehood. I'll also need an external duct/vent installed, as the old rangehood was not externally vented. . Single story . Tile roof . External wall directly behind I'm located in Pakenham. I need the range hood installed as the kitchen guy did not measure it properly it does not sit straight in, been told it needs two timber pieces to be drilled in so it can sit flush, really would appreciate someone who knows what they’re doing to install it, I also I need a whole cut out for the smoke to go out to the vent to the wall as they did not cut the hole out for that..
