The new 60cm standard rangehood (Omega 60cm Slide Out Rangehood ORT6WXA) needs to be installed. The old rangehood has been already removed, but the cabinet opening is only around 49×27 cm and needs to be enlarged.

I have a Smeg undermount rangehood (integrated, built into overhead cabinetry) that needs replacing. The unit is mounted flush under the cabinet above a grill in a modern kitchen with dark cabinetry. Looking for installation services for a Westinghouse 86cm integrated undermount rangehood (WRI815SC) that has already been delivered to site. The job requires disconnection and removal of the existing rangehood, and may require a small 3mm cut to the cabinetry to accommodate the wider depth of the new Westinghouse rangehood. Splash back is glass, cooktop is gas and there is more than 650mm clearance above the cooktop. Photos provided are of the existing rangehood and cabinetry.
