I’m looking for someone to design and build a custom-sized platform for my washing machine. What I need: - A raised platform strong enough to safely support a heavy washing machine (71.2 kg + 9kg washing capacity front loader) - Platform height needs to allow space underneath for a cat litter tray and for my cat to comfortably access and use it - Must be very sturdy and stable (no wobbling, able to handle vibration/spin cycles) - Ideally made from durable materials (e.g. timber or metal frame) suitable for a laundry environment Approx requirements: - Sized to fit washing machine H 845mm, W 598mm, D 590mm - Sized to fit laundry space inside a cupboard W 740mm, D 630mm - Clearance underneath needs to comfortably fit a litter tray + cat (ideally 400mm or more) Open to quotes based on materials and build approach. If you’ve done similar builds or have ideas on the best way to construct this safely, I’d love your input! Please include examples/photos of similar past work if possible. Images included are of my laundry space (I no longer have the dryer), plus a photo of the platform that I previously used for this purpose before it collapsed (for reference!)
