My sliding door has detached from the internal sliding bracket.

Our external door lock has broken. The latch won't engage when the handle is turned. We don't need the handle to be replaced, we would just like to be able to open and close the door, with minimal damage to the frame itself. It doesn't need to be able to be locked again afterwards.
