We have just moved into a Fitzroy north terrace and have a few small repair/installation jobs that we don’t not have the tools/skills for, including: - take 1-2cm off the bottom of 2 indoor doors (since carpet installation as no long fit) - help with a couple small fence repairs (we will provide a couple of boards to plug 1-3 holes) - install wall mounted coat rack - install tv wall mount (tbc) - add some screws/hooks for frames into existing brickwork. I will add some photos later. Happy to negotiate price/hourly rate depending on number of task. Hoping to do in next few weeks.

My door handle need to be welded on one side

Help needed to re attach wardrobe door to hinges.

Repair kitchen cupboard door. Fee is negotiable.

Washer dryer stack moved during washing process. Now stuck blocking bathroom door from opening. Can push door open an inch or two, but no more. Hinges are on the inside of the bathroom. There is a very small window to external, only opens 45 degrees. Would need someone with strength to push or wedge the machine away from the door, and/or tools to do so. Potentially will need to remove and replace door.

Frameless glass shower door is sagging a little and hitting the metal bracket at the top of the shower when closing

A kitchen cabinet door needs to be temporarily removed and the top needs to be shaved down, using a rasp, so it can close properly (it’s currently being blocked by a vent). And then put back onto the cupboard

I need 3 wooden windows replaced, some repairs of window frames from wood rot and a window repaired. Ideally I’d like the task completed by the end of April. I think the price range would be between $2,000 & $2,500.

We need a single piece of mesh on our sliding flysceen door replaced. Has a couple of holes from objects being blown over in strong winds. No specific type of mesh required, whatever is most affordable and black in colour.

Cupboard door has come off its hinges, need someone to pop over and fix it to the door — might need to bring new hinges too

I’ve bought a new sliding door for my van and need it fitted. I’ve no tools here so I can’t do it myself, should be relatively easy job, all the hard were I.e the handle ect is already fitted so it shouldn’t need to much donor swapping

As well as the actual install we will need - flyscreen attached to the door - all fittings (hinges, door and frame lock parts) fitted. The frame ais about 60mm deep and the door is 25mm thick. There are old hinge cutouts from what must have been an old door from a while ago. The big handle in the existing door will need to be removed, as it's about 50mm deep. We are only looking for a fresh air solution. It's mainly to have the door open for a breeze and so kids don't just blindly answer the door to someone standing right there :) We have the door and the wood strips for the flyscreen, but not the mesh yet or any fittings, as would like your ideas on the best option for those.
