Two hanger brackets attach the door to a ceiling track via side screws. **Background:** The bracket screws came loose previously and I re-tightened them myself. After re-tightening, the door slides but doesn't reach its original closed position. Lifting while sliding doesn't help. Brackets look level (top gap is even left to right). Track is clear of obstructions. **My guess** (open to your diagnosis): The door may not have been pushed fully up into the bracket housing before being re-screwed, so the door is hanging slightly lower than designed. Our large wardrobe door has come off and need a handyman to come put it back on. I don’t know if we still have all the hinges and parts, so looking for someone experienced who knows what will be needed. Please note we also have a dog and cat if you are allergic.
