We temporarily removed a standard internal door to move a large piece of furniture out of the room. We are now struggling to re-hang it correctly, it is not levelling up properly and will not close smoothly in the frame. The door, frame, hinges, and screws are all original and on-site. No trimming or planing should be required, as it fit perfectly before removal. Just needs an experienced eye to align the hinges correctly and get it closing properly.

My client needs a door replaced. They will cover the cost of the door. The last builder who did it ordered a shorter one by mistake, so had to add extra wood around the frame. Due to this, it won't shut/lock properly, so must be done again—properly this time. I'm looking for someone to measure the frame, advise on which door to order, then fit once it comes. There can be another experienced builder on site to help with fitting. Four doors into each room swing in the incorrect direction we would like them to open into the wall instead of into the furniture. This will require routing new notches into the door frame for the hinges and drilling for a new door latch. The doors themselves can be reused as is with reversing the hardware.
